Automated Desktop Scanning for Small Objects
Artec Micro II is an automated desktop 3D scanner built for small objects, with up to 5-micron point accuracy and 2-micron repeatability. It's aimed at reverse engineering, quality inspection, and dental work, and it can combine scans with photogrammetry data for added realism.
Smart algorithms in Artec Studio position the object on an ideal scanning trajectory, so a one-click workflow takes you from setup to a finished, full-color 3D model.
Micron-Level Detail, Automated
High-precision capture without the manual setup.
5 Micron Accuracy
Up to 5-micron point accuracy and 2-micron repeatability, with ISO 12836 certification.
Quad-Cam Imaging
Four 13 MP cameras reach hard-to-see areas and sharp edges, acquiring about 1 million points per second.
One-Click Smart Scanning
Smart Scanning Mode positions the object on an ideal trajectory with no targets required.

Capture Capacity
Object Size
Handles objects up to 20 × 20 × 15 cm, with a 4,700 cm³ volume capture zone on a 3-axis scan system.
Color & Texture
RGB LED lighting captures scanner-native color and phototexture at 24 bits per pixel.
Used for reverse engineering, quality inspection, forensics, archaeology and paleontology, design, and dentistry.
Artec Studio Included in the Workflow
Scan-to-CAD and Inspection
Artec Studio handles smart scanning, scan-to-CAD export, and direct export to Geomagic Control X, so small parts move from scan to inspection report in a few steps.
