EXT 800 Titan Pellet
Accessible, high-speed industrial pellet extrusion. The EXT 800 brings 3D Systems’ pellet extrusion technology to organizations that don’t need — or have the budget for — a larger system.
- 800 × 600 × 800 mm build volume
- Fits through standard double doors
- Open materials architecture
Space-Saving Design
Fits through standard double doors for office or lab installation, while still offering a sizeable 800 × 600 × 800 mm (31.5 × 23.6 × 31.5 in) build volume.
Faster than Filament
A proven high-throughput pellet extrusion system delivers up to 10X the output of competing FFF and FDM printers.
Affordable Additive
Thermoplastic pellets cut material costs up to 10X versus filament, and the EXT 800 is 3D Systems’ most affordable pellet system — a faster path to positive ROI.

Reliable, Repeatable Industrial Production
The EXT 800 brings the speed, reliability and efficiency of 3D Systems’ pellet extrusion to organizations that don’t need the capacity of the larger EXT Titan systems — ready for applications from foundry patterns and manufacturing fixtures to prosthetics and durable goods.
A welded steel frame, industrial CNC controller, servo-driven ball screws on all axes and an actively heated, enclosed build chamber make it built for reliable, lights-out manufacturing.

Access the Efficiency of Pellet Extrusion
The same proven high-throughput extruder as the larger Titan systems prints a wide range of low-cost thermoplastic pellets at high speed. A 140°C heated bed and an actively heated 80°C chamber open the door to engineering materials, and pellets make highly flexible TPEs printable too.

Designed for High-Throughput AM
Pellet extrusion — sometimes called Fused Granulate Fabrication (FGF) — works like FFF/FDM: the toolhead melts thermoplastic and deposits it layer by layer. Feeding pellets instead of filament enables much higher throughput at a significantly lower cost.
The EXT 800 maximizes build volume within its compact welded steel frame. An adjustable touchscreen HMI keeps the most-needed functions close at hand, and removable side and rear panels make maintenance easy.
Lights-Out Production on the EXT 800
Proven Production Printing
In production, uptime is everything. Industrial CNC motion control, servos on all axes, NFPA-79 compliant electronics and an ultra-reliable pellet extruder keep it running.
Flexible Machine Placement
A welded, machined steel chassis fits through standard double doors, and the heated bed and chamber support engineering materials in a lab, office or on the factory floor.
A Versatile Platform
Nozzles from 0.6 to 9.0 mm let you choose fine layers and smooth surfaces, or up to 30 lb (14 kg) per hour for draft prototyping. The open materials architecture also makes it a strong pilot platform for materials development.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the EXT 800 print support material with just one toolhead?
It prints break-away supports in the same material as the model. Compared with second-material or soluble supports, that means lower cost, higher print speeds and simpler disposal.
Do I have to use 3D Systems’ materials on the EXT 800?
No. The EXT 800 works with a wide range of pellet materials from various suppliers, so you can choose what best suits your application. 3D Systems can also recommend materials already tested on Titan systems.
How is the EXT 800 different from the EXT 1070 and EXT 1270?
Beyond build volume — the EXT 1270 can print more than 7X as large — the EXT 1070 and 1270 support multiple toolheads, while the EXT 800 uses a single pellet extruder.
Is training available for the EXT 800?
Yes. Comprehensive training is available, along with ongoing technical support, maintenance and service to keep production running smoothly.
