Hybrid Scanning, Metrology-Grade Accuracy
Artec Neo is a handheld, wireless, hybrid 3D scanner engineered for metrology-grade accuracy of 0.025 mm. It combines target-based and target-free scanning in one device, so you can apply targets only where tolerances must hold — and skip them everywhere else.
Built for reverse engineering and inspection, Neo captures full-color texture, reaches deep holes, channels, and recesses, and recovers tracking quickly after a loss.
One Scanner, Two Ways to Track
Switch between modes within a single scan and a single dataset.
Up to 0.025 mm Accuracy
0.025 mm accuracy with targets and 0.050 mm without, verified per VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3.
8 Million Points/s
Fast capture with no target placement needed for target-free work, at up to 15 fps real-time fusion.
Wireless Freedom
A built-in battery and Wi-Fi let you scan untethered, with a wired Thunderbolt connection also available.
Available Models
Artec Neo is offered as a single model.
Artec Neo
Best for: inspection and reverse engineering that mixes high-tolerance and free-form areas.

Verified Accuracy You Can Document
Neo's accuracy is verified per VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3 and backed by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab, with a per-unit accuracy certificate for your quality records.
- Full-color 5 MP texture to document surface condition
- Access to tight areas, deep holes, channels, and recesses
- Combine data with other Artec scanners such as Leo and Ray II
Hybrid Tracking Modes
Target-Based
0.025 mm accuracy and 0.025 mm + 0.035 mm/m volumetric accuracy, using retroreflective targets where tolerances are tight.
Target-Free
0.050 mm accuracy and 0.050 mm + 0.3 mm/m volumetric accuracy, using geometry and texture tracking with no targets to place.
Use both in a single scan: targets where it counts, target-free everywhere else.
Artec Studio & Inspection Software
Export to Your Inspection Workflow
Neo works with Artec Studio and exports to Geomagic, PolyWorks, and SolidWorks, so scan data flows straight into inspection and CAD workflows.
